FAQ

  • How can I check my batch lab results?
A unique batch number is stamped on the bottom of each one of our products. Every one of our labels include a scannable QR code that will take you to www.mycbdtest.com. Simply enter the code into the search bar, and the certificate of analysis coordinating with the specific batch will appear.
  • Where should I store my hemp oil?
Store all hemp products in a cool, dark place, away from sun and away from heat. Direct sunlight can actually cause the oil to lose its potency.
  • How do you extract the oil from the hemp plant?
We use a state of the art supercritical Co2 extraction method. Using carbon dioxide allows for the purest hemp oil on the market. Many companies will cut corners and use ethanol to extract the material from the plant. While this is a cheap way to obtain the oil, it can also lead to product contamination and inconsistent results. We partner with an FDA-registered facility to handle the hemp oil extraction process to ensure that the product lives up to the highest possible standards.
  • Does it matter what kind of hemp is used in the process?
Absolutely. Just like its cousin, marijuana, there are infinite genetic variations unique to the cannabis sativa species. Each variation is considered to be a specific 'strain'. We only usenon-GMO, high CBD, low THC strains in our hemp oil. Using these strains, we are able to scale down the production on our farm. This permits us to tend and focus more intimately on each individual plant, rather than hundreds of acres.
  • Is your hemp organic?
In short, yes. Thanks to the 2018 Farm Bill, our hemp farm is currently undergoing the process to obtain it's organic certification. In the meantime, you can be at ease that we use organic farming methods, free of harsh chemicals.
  • What is the difference between Full Spectrum and Broad Spectrum Hemp Oil?
The difference lies in the THC content. Our Broad Spectrum Hemp Oil undergoes a reversed-phase flash chromatography process that separates the THC from the other beneficial compounds found in the hemp plant. We are left with a phytocannabinoid-rich hemp extract that contains high levels of CBD, all of the minor cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids, with none of the THC.
  • Will I fail a drug test?
All of our products contain 'non-detectable' amounts of THC. Even then, we strongly encourage that you speak with your HR department regarding the work place policy on CBD oil before using our products.
  • Why are minor cannabinoids and terpenes important in a hemp oil?
Minor cannabinoids and terpenes work synergistically with CBD to provide the 'entourage effect'. Studies have shown that CBD oil is much more effective when it contains all of the cannabinoids and terpenes, than when it is used just by itself.
